Last year, there was research done on the mobile payments space, and they found that Starbucks is doing more payments than any other payment provider, whether that's Apple Pay or Google Pay. The reasoning is that all businesses want to control the money going in and out of their accounts. Everyone currently sees fintech as an industry that is solely attached to the financial services industry. What we're going to see is a shift were fintech will become embedded into every type of business".
